The IEU zone Forum

Welcome, Guest

This forum is for Reps to talk about school and centre-based issues. Remember, you should be professional and appropriate when discussing particular issues. Avoid naming schools and individuals.

This forum is for teachers and support staff to talk about professional development and learning. It's also where we will chat about initiatives by the IEU.

This category is specifically for casual teachers. If you are, or have been, or will soon be a casual teacher, this is the place to post your questions, answer other people's questions or find information. This category is open to the public.

This forum is specifically for early career teachers. If you are an early career teacher, or if you work with early career teachers, use this forum to find the answers to your questions, or to ask new questions.

This forum is for teachers or pre-service teachers who have retrained from another career. This group of teachers often has issues around accreditation, recognition of prior service and classification. This is a place to ask questions about all of those issues!

This group is for specific sections of IEU membership. It includes sections for IB teachers and EREA teachers, as well as other small groups. It is restricted to IEU members.

Are you a support staff member? Do you have questions? If so, this forum is the place for you!

Professional Development for Casual Teachers
Here at the IEU we know that professional development is just as crucial for casual teachers as it is for those on permanent or temporary contracts. We also know that it can be much harder, as a casual teacher, accessing that professional...

Educational Films... What's good, what's bad, what's really ugly?
There have been plenty of films and TV shows made about teachers - maybe not as many as are made about police or lawyers or hospitals, but it's certainly up there. I can remember films like Kindergarten Cop and Dead Poets Society and TV shows like...
